Job Title: Environmental Impact Assessments Coordinator /EIA Coordinator

ROLE โ€“ EIA Coordinator (EC)

Required Sectors:

Sector 8 (a) – Building and construction projects

Sector 8(b) – townships and Area development projects

Sector 5(f) – Synthetic organic chemicals industry (dyes & dye intermediates; bulk drugs and intermediates excluding drug formulations; synthetic rubbers; basic organic chemicals, other synthetic organic chemicals, and chemical intermediates)

Sector 7(c) – Industrial estates/ parks/ complexes/areas, export processing Zones (EPZs), Special Economic Zones (SEZs), Biotech Parks, Leather Complexes


Work & Site Location: Ashok Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Experience: 5 โ€“ 7 Years of experience in the field of EIA (Environmental Impact Assessments)

Salary: Based on the existing package

Mode of Interview: Face to face HR Round


Skills Required:

The following skills are required for the EIA Coordinator position.

Technical Skills

Must have handled and coordinated Category A/ B type projects in each sector – Building Construction, Township Area Development, Industrial Parks.

He/she shall be solely responsible to handle and execute the EIA studies including baseline data generation and report preparation for the projects

Responsible for planning & preparation of Prefeasibility Reports, EIA Reports, Site Visits for checking environmental compliance

Candidate is responsible for presenting at EAC / SEACs / DEACs presentations

Interact and coordinate with clients on technical aspects

Knowledge & Experience in EIA Legislations & Processes

Should have hands-on experience in working with AERMOD (Air Quality Predictions)

Experience in working with PHAST Micro, SAFETI & ALOHA for Risk Predictions


  • M. Tech/ B.E. Civil/ Mechanical/ Environmental/ Chemical
  • M. Tech Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management/ Environmental Science
  • M.Sc Chemistry/ Environmental Science/
